Catalyst Twin Flame
Often within the Twin Flame community one always hears about False Twin, Near Twin or Catalyst Twin Flame. Dealing with collectives for over 2 years now, I found that 30-35% deal with their Catalyst Twin Flame before meeting their real counterpart. Truth be told, this is my fourth time adding things to this article as there are many facets to this type of connection. It’s no coincidence why they are part of your dynamics. They are your Soulmate who volunteered to give you very specific Soul lessons and experiences you wanted to endure while being incarnated here. From a Soul’s perspective, this was all prescripted, and if it is predestined, all will play out as it is meant to.
In reality, while dealing with a Catalyst Twin Flame, most collectives do not know it is their False Twin Flame until the real one shows up, so really you will only learn about this when the time is orchestrated by your Higher Self. In my case, my real Twin Flame began to show up energetically in 5D six months prior to him showing up in my reality. During my awakening, I thought my Catalyst Twin, my then perceived Twin Flame had awakened me. The only way I recognized my real Twin Flame’s energy is when I began diving deep into my healing sessions with various healers. When I recognized my real Twin Flame’s energy, I knew he was already with me in 5D initiation process.
This may differ in your case. Your Catalyst Twin may very well initiate your Twin Flame journey experience. Nothing is set on stone. As I mentioned before, each couple have their own set scripts which it reels out. Catalyst Twin Flames are not Karmics, though it may seem like it at times as they teach very specific Soul lessons for your Soul growth.
In this article I will shed some light on this type of enigmatic connection through my own experiences and as well as observing the collectives. Firstly, before we dive deep into this, click on all different type of Soul connections here. You are aware of Twin Flame connections, Soulmate connections, and Karmic connections. Karmic connections are derived from the word Karma, and for those who think Karma is deeds or punishment from doing bad, take this concept out of your equation as this is nothing but an ego based misconception. On a Soul level, all is pre-planned and ordained so there is no bad Karma to reap. Karma is mainly to do with past live residuals, often bled in your current reality through unfinished business. When you meet your Catalyst Twin Flame, you may also have a case where you may be with a Karmic partner. If you have this scenario, most often they are contracted to release you from your Karmic ties. This was my case. Both my ex and I were Karmics to each other, learning lessons, both on our own Twin Flame journey, Twin Flames who were predestined to meet our own counterparts in Divine Timing. See, even in this case, though were are Twin Flames, we do not have Twin Flame connection with each other. Though I have met mine, he has only sensed her in 5D so far, but is destined to meet her in this lifetime. You see, my Catalyst Twin Flame served a double dozer role in my story. From a Soul’s perspective, all was meant to happen as scripted, while he catapulted the marriage into its separate direction, to serve our highest and greatest goods through fated Twin Flame journey experiences to our own Divine counterpart. Who would have known?

What are some of the facts regarding a Catalyst Twin connection?
You only get one Catalyst Twin Flame.- They are your Soulmate from previous life preparing you to meet the real Twin Flame.
- They are 99.9% energetically connected to you but that one 1% tips the scales from night and day to the actual Twin Flame.
- You will experience toxic behavior from them.
- Some signs and synchronicities will point that they are indeed your Twin Flame. It is there and meant to throw you off specifically for the Soul lessons to occur.
- You will feel intense deep knowing that you have known each other before, and this is true as you did know each other in previous life.
- Some common syncs will be that they are born around the same date as some of your close family members.
- You will feel everything that they are going through and feeling.
- You can sense telepathy with them. In my case, it was nothing compared to the real one but in some aspects, we did share telepathy.
- You will feel that they are always draining your energy. One of the most common occurrences is in dreams, as they will come to drain off your energy, especially if you feel drained the morning after the dream.
Because our own energetic bond was so strong, my Catalyst Twin was able to heal by just being around my auric field. Right before my eyes I would witness him from looking gaunt and deathly to instant revitalization. I used to be fascinated by observing my effect on him. It even came up in my astrological reading on how we could heal each other, but it never felt this way for me. I felt he drained me on a daily basis. During those days, often I used to tell my friends how much he drained me.
Catalyst Twin Flame is not narcissistic. If you are dealing with one, then most likely you are dealing with a Karmic connection. On a Soul level, as being your Soulmate, you both planned to have this experience for Soul lessons. Once certain lessons have been integrated, meeting your real Twin Flame will be imminent. For those who are fated to encounter a Catalyst Twin Flame before the real one, I find that most of the harsh Soul lessons are already orchestrated by the Catalyst Twin Flame, so when the real one shows up, the actual Twin Flame experience becomes easier. On a Soul level, you would have matured to handle the push and pull dynamics of the Twin Flame connection better.
Most often you will not know you are in False Twin Flame or Catalyst Twin Flame connection until the Soul lessons have been learnt and integrated. Your Higher Self rides the chariot so when they feel it is done, that is when you will automatically learn on your own about it.
Forgiveness is huge aspect in Twin Flame journey, especially on a subconscious level. For the longest time my Catalyst Twin came into my dreams. I felt that I needed to forgive him on a much deeper level, which wasn’t happening for a very long time. Just recently, I managed to shift this aspect as he came into my dream with his partner and I told him how happy I am for both and that I had forgiven him. I was so happy the following morning to learn that he wouldn’t be coming into my dreams anymore. Since then, I have stopped dreaming of him.
What are some of the facts regarding a Twin Flame connection?
- You only have one Twin Flame.
- You have previous life connection, that deep knowing you had known them before.
- Twin Flame is your mirror meaning they will bring your deepest and darkest core wounds out to heal on a subconscious and conscious level.
- You have intense telepathy with them.
- You real Twin will never hurt you intentionally. It’s a Divine Connection, not an abusive connection.
- You will share many syncs with them example date of birth, birth charts, astrology, life path, time of birth etc.
- Most often they have similar facial features as you, hence Twin Flames.
- You will feel everything they are going through and feeling.
- You will get the same Twin Flame lessons and dynamics as you would with a Twin Flame, hence why during the connection, people often are mistaken for them to be their real Twin Flame.
Unfortunately, if you are dealing with a Catalyst Twin, you will still have to allow the connection to unfold organically. Your Higher Self will ensure that it is the case anyway. They play a very pivotal part on your Twin Flame journey. Once you see it through this perspective, you will be glad it had happened with them and not with your Twin Flame. Do the Twin Flame test to see the authenticity of the connection.
In my case, I was torn between the two myself for about a month and half. I then was told by my cousin, “Choose one. Don’t confuse the Universe.” It was the best advice and move I personally made. When I chose one from the two, the person whom I actually chose was my Twin Flame. Who would have known?
