Soul Contracts And Twin Flames

This article is a continuum of my three part series. Even if you are not on a Twin Flame path, this article will still resonate. If you haven’t read Fate vs Destiny and Free Will, you may do so here. Soul Contracts are soul agreement between two or more people. The agreements are crafted before a person incarnates on Earth. Simplest way put, before birthing on Earth, souls chose and agreed upon specific life experiences they wanted to learn from a soul’s perspective to help their soul grow. The only way this could be achieved is to take an embodiment because on a soul level, you cannot experience anything from a human standpoint, be it emotions, chaos, drama, conflict. All these aspects show up in our reality as life lessons. After all, we are spiritual beings living a human experience.

While in embodiment, we do not remember what our soul contracts or agreements are for the simple reason that we are born with soul amnesia. Let’s face it, if we remembered what our soul contracts are, it wouldn’t be called, “Soul Contracts”. There is a reason why this is the case and that is because our ego is involved. Our soul knew this so they ensured that we are not aware of what our contracts are so that we cannot manipulate or sabotage it in anyway. Ego plays illusions whereas the soul does not. The soul only knows the truth.

Soul contracts are nothing we should be overly concerned about despite what you may hear within the spiritual community. Even if you try to dig into what your soul agreements are, you honestly will not know it until it comes into a full culmination, often when soul lessons are learnt and healing has been done. Fate plays an essential part in soul agreements hence why you can only nullify contracts once you have healed and moved on from a specific life event or a situation. Your “free will” to heal and clear to move forward in life plays a huge part in the equation. The only way you can nullify soul agreements are through forgiveness and love. As each event plays out a full circle, once you move on without holding any bitterness and grudges against the experience, you have mastered the lesson and have healed.

Now that you have a brief idea on what soul agreements are, let’s dive deep into the breakdowns on what this means and how you can become aware of soul contracts within your life’s journey.

What Are Soul Contracts?

If you really look at any written contracts, it contains many clauses. Some can be nulled and voided while others have fine prints embedded within the contracts. Our soul contracts come with the same structure. Some contracts can be broken and others are sealed cryptically. What can be altered, in which areas they apply and which areas of the contract we cannot alter, we will look through here. It is important to understand the differences between these soul contracts as many are mistaken on which ones can be nullified and which ones cannot.

Earlier we learnt briefly what soul contracts are. Here we are going to break it down even further to understand how it applies in our soul’s journey.

You choose your name, date of birth, place of birth, time of birth.

Before you incarnated, you chose your name very specifically on what it should be. You see, your name carries a specific energetic vibration and DNA blueprint of your soul. Your date of birth and time of birth carries a unique signature to your personality blueprint which allows astrologers to interpret birth charts and life path numbers, which hold a unique signature to your DNA codes. Your time and place of birth dictates under what influences of specific stars and planetary positions you were born under, which in return determines what kind of life you are destined to live.

You choose your family before incarnation.

This may come as shocking news to you, whether you get along with your family members or not, on a soul level you chose them. You chose them specifically so that whatever specific soul lessons you wanted to attain for your soul growth, they in return agreed upon helping you by becoming your family member. This is true in my case so far when it comes to my future kids. In my personal readings, my kids told the medium that they chose us very specifically to biologically have them.

Your soul family agrees to help you with specific soul lessons and healing.

This may also be shocking for you to read, especially if you are not getting along with certain family members. Know this that you signed up for very specific scenarios, scripted to perfection on some of the experiences you attained from your loved ones. Whether it was coming from positive or negative experiences, each were meant for your soul growth and lessons, hence why you chose them before incarnating. In order to better understand and heal, ask yourself regarding those experiences on how it was meant to teach you. Seek your answers from within.

Other connections during your soul’s journey.

Similar to your family, other relationships such as lovers, romantic interests, friends and acquaintances also agreed to help you gain specific soul lessons for your soul expansion. Some you will have a deeper soul connection with, others not so much. You have profound soul connections with your Twin Flame or Soulmate. You can have multiple Soulmates but only one Twin Flame who is an exact energetic blueprint of your soul.

You have “Free will.”

This aspect and teachings around it are similar to fate, that you have “free will” to choose your healing from your past events. Your soul has given you the option to remain wounded or to heal the issues navigating your current reality, be it your past life karma or your current life’s soul lessons. With “free will” attached in each part of your contract, your soul is allowing you to choose which way you prefer to navigate your soul lessons that are fated. Though you cannot change the fated events, you can however change the way you take on your soul lessons, to heal and integrate them in your daily life.

You choose your death.

Before incarnating, you chose your time of death and how you were going to make your exit from your body. For those who managed to break away from their death, example near death or near miss experiences, this clause was also written in their soul contract so it did not happen by accident. They didn’t cheat the odds of death, they chose to state in their contract that they have an option to hit the exit. These are called, “The exit points.” If you look around you, those who have passed on, they were meant to do so as per their soul contract.

You cannot override or break your soul contracts.

This is an interesting topic as many feel they can do this. The whole point of having soul contracts is so that your ego self is not aware of it until it screens out in your reality otherwise it will be called, “human contracts,” not “soul contracts”. Only your soul knows what is written on your contract so I hate to burst your bubble, there is no such thing as you knowing what is written on your soul contract until it plays out in your reality. You do however have “free will” to balance your karma by balancing your karmic debts with people where there were heavy lessons woven into it. Think about it for second, in high in sight, if your ego self knew what is written in your soul contract, wouldn’t you just about do everything in your power to change it and skip the soul lessons? Which human being will not attempt to make amends and skip their soul lessons, wouldn’t you?

You can heal from your soul lessons.

During the course of one’s soul journey, there are many lessons attained from various people, be it family ties, friends, lovers, colleagues. Each play a very specific role in one’s soul journey, teachings, lessons and wisdom for soul growth. One gets a chance to heal wounds inflicted around these relationships and releasing any previous life karma attached to it. Releasing and healing one’s karmic debts is an integral part of soul healing. The less wounded one is here by applying the art of forgiveness and applying love, the more evolved the soul becomes through its consciousness.

You can clear ancestral soul agreements.

By going through various types of soul healing, you end up also clearing heavy ancestral wounding, karma, patterns and conditioning which bled down through family lineage. Just as diseases can be inherited through family genetics, trauma is also inherited through the womb. Soul allows you to exercise the ability to heal and clear any types of healing, be it blockages, wounds, traumas, patterns and so forth for the ancestors. Once it is cleared, ancestors feel healed and restored and are able to not carry the burden of their karma into the coming lives they embody, if choose to do so.

Past life vows and oaths.

Past life vows and oaths are part of your own soul contract with people and things you consciously placed. Vows and oaths from previous lives have significant bearing on many lifetimes thereafter, including this one, based from the intensity of one’s emotions during the taking. Vows and oaths have a tendency to wreak havoc in day to day matters as the energy during the taking was so severe that in this lifetime, you subconsciously allow the oath and vow to take over all your current decisions. This area is one of the hardest one to heal because it is embedded so heavily onto the soul contract. Vigorous healing is needed to revoke all past life vows and oaths. If you work on your past life, you will see many oaths and vows taken in previous lifetimes, overriding and overtaking everything in all matters of your life here, in this lifetime.

Why Soul Contract?

We learnt what types of soul agreements are but why do we make them? Your simplest answer is, you chose to. Because it is a nonphysical agreement made from the soul level of your consciousness, you do not remember making them when you incarnate. You are born with soul amnesia, a form of protective layer created by your soul to protect you from it. No matter how advanced you are on your consciousness, it is next to impossible to penetrate through it.

You create all sorts of soul agreements between members of your soul family or soul group who volunteered willingly to help you attain certain experiences and lessons. These agreements are binding and can have detailed aspects of your soul journey and lifespan.

On Earthly plane, other planets and dimensions a soul contract is a binding agreement between one or more souls. It is an exchange of energy through fulfilling of various roles and functions for one another. By creating these contracts, you create a shared energy through many learnings and experiences through specific scripted episodes of drama. These contracts are not always meant to be positive as they are designed to help you grow on a soul level. The whole point of these agreements are that they provide some form of lesson that you can integrate and take forward with you.

You can even sit on certain soul contracts for several thousand years before the right circumstances present themselves, example past life vows and oaths are naming some. While the law of karma does dictate you to fulfil all agreements, you still have “free will” to allow how it plays into your life and how you can heal from its wounds. You have the right to choose whether it dictates your life going forward, or not.

Revoking Soul Contracts

In most instances, especially in Twin Flame journey you cannot revoke your soul contracts. Your higher self will not allow you to do so. As per your “free will,” you may take a break but at some point of your journey, your soul will began to make things difficult so that you resume your journey. There are no “free will” at play. The Universe will keep heralding you to resume where you have ended last.

You and your Twin Flame also signed up a soul contract to complete this journey in front of your Ascended Masters many lifetimes ago. Your Ascended Masters may differ from your religious upbringing so be open to who they may be. To read more about them, you can do so here.

You do not need to worry about resolving all your soul contracts. Your higher self will show you which ones need to be cleared and resolved through various healing. As long as you are aware of your actions, and are trying to make a conscious decision, you are on a right path to your healing. So long as you are completing the cycles, you are also finishing them. The only way to complete any cycles is through forgiveness. During the course of your healing, you will know through the works of your higher self, what soul contracts need to be resolved. All you have to do is to trust the process and to trust the synchronistic flow of your journey.

So long as you are aware of what type of soul contracts exists, it becomes easier to know your direction regarding your soul’s journey. Go deep within and reflect on what they can be and where you need to aim your focus first. You can ask why you experienced certain lessons and how it will make you heal and grow from it. When you realize that your experiences were meant to teach you something valuable, you appreciate The Teacher.

I also want to add, though on the contrary many teach this, rituals do not revoke soul contracts, healing does. In order to revoke soul contracts; you have to physically, emotionally and mentally heal from it. Part of your healing is to own your soul agreements and take responsibility for it. Blaming things and others will not revoke your soul agreements. It has to come from love, not hate. It has to come from serenity, not anger. It has to come from forgiveness, not resentment. It has to come from your ownership, not blame.
